Privacy Policy
Formula: Boards & Subitems for monday.com · Effective 23 August 2026
This policy explains what Formula: Boards & Subitems ("the App") does with your data. The App is provided by Dmytro Hodun, trading as DeDmytro ("we", "us").
In short: the App runs entirely in your browser, reads your board data only to calculate the number it displays, and stores nothing outside monday.com. We operate no servers and no database, and we cannot see your data.
1. What the App accesses
With the boards:read permission you grant at install, the App reads, from within
your browser session:
- Board names, group names, and column names and types, so you can choose them in settings.
- The values of the specific numeric column you select, on the items — or subitems — of the board you select.
- Your dashboard's display theme and your account's subscription status for this App, which monday.com provides to the App directly.
The App requests no write permission of any kind and cannot modify, create or delete anything in your account. It reads data using your own session, so it can only access what you can already access yourself.
2. What we store
Nothing. We operate no servers, no database and no logging infrastructure. The App is a static bundle of files served by monday.com's own infrastructure and executed in your browser.
Board values read for a calculation exist only in your browser's memory for as long as the widget is open, and are discarded when you close or reload it. They are never transmitted anywhere.
Your widget configuration — variable names, which board and column each one points at, your formula, and formatting choices — is saved through monday.com's own settings storage, attached to the widget on your dashboard. It lives in your monday.com account under monday.com's terms, not with us.
3. Third parties
The App makes no network requests to any third party. It loads no external fonts, scripts, stylesheets, images, analytics, error trackers or advertising. It sets no cookies and uses no tracking technologies. There are no subprocessors, because there is no processing outside your browser.
All data access happens through monday.com's own API from inside the dashboard, governed by monday.com's privacy policy and your agreement with them.
4. Support correspondence
If you email us for support, we receive whatever you choose to send — your email address, your description of the problem, and any screenshots you attach. We use it only to answer you, never for marketing, and never share it. Please do not send confidential business data; a description of the problem is usually enough.
5. Children
The App is a business tool sold to organisations and is not directed at children under 16.
6. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request. Your configuration and board data are held in your monday.com account — exercise any access, correction or deletion rights over that data through monday.com or your account administrator. Uninstalling the App removes its access immediately.
7. Security
The App is served over HTTPS by monday.com and runs sandboxed in an iframe within the
dashboard. It never handles credentials or API tokens: authentication is performed by
monday.com, and the App only ever receives data monday.com chooses to hand it. It contains no
eval() and no dynamic code execution; the formula you write is parsed by a
restricted expression parser limited to arithmetic.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes and the current version is always published at this address. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
